Isn't calling 811 enough?
No. Florida 811 only notifies public utility owners, who mark their own lines up to the meter. Private, abandoned, and undocumented utilities (often the majority of lines on commercial sites) are not covered. Professional locating finds everything.
How accurate are your locates?
EM locating is typically accurate within inches horizontally. Depth readings are estimates that we verify with multiple passes, and we document accuracy levels per ASCE 38 quality standards.
