Our teams have hands-on experience working on underground fiber-optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout the US. We understand the challenges associated with installing new underground utilities while protecting existing networks, particularly in areas with shallow utility installations, sandy soil conditions, and congested underground corridors.
Through our projects, we have performed horizontal directional drilling (HDD), underground conduit installation, and utility coordination, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and minimizing surface disruption.
Before beginning excavation or drilling operations, we coordinate with Sunshine 811 to identify existing public utility infrastructure and arrange private utility locating when required. Our field procedures include electromagnetic locating, tracer wire detection where available, and verification of underground utility routes to help prevent accidental damage.
